Streaming Netflix on your laptop is a cakewalk but you might not be impressed with the size of the screen. You can connect your laptop to your TV and watch Netflix on the bigger screen. Here’s how:

Getting Started
Sign up for a Netflix account from their official website, Netflix.com/GB. You will be given a user name and password which you will then use to log in whenever you want to stream content from the site.

Connect HDMI Cable
Check the port on your laptop for the HDMI cable and the corresponding port on your TV. Buy an HDMI cable accordingly from your nearest store.

Connect the TV and Laptop
Once the cable is connected, change your TV input to HDMI. The screen of your laptop should show on your TV if connected properly. If not, adjust the cable. Seek professional help if you face any trouble connecting your laptop to your TV using an HDMI cable.

Launch Netflix
Launch a browser on your laptop. Log on to the Netflix website and sign in using your account details. Once signed in, you can browse the website for your favourite TV shows and movies. The variety of content available is abundant and you can select any number of titles you wish to watch. You can create a list of titles to watch at a later date.
To watch a show or movie right away, click on the title and it will start streaming. Adjust the settings of your TV and laptop to ensure a smooth viewing experience. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, you will be able to watch the content you select in high-definition with great audio.
